The spoiled son of a wealthy father, Kirk Anthony finished college but still has no profession. While out partying with his friends, he is drugged, robbed, and substituted for a criminal on a ship headed for Panama. Arriving without funds, he must fend for himself for the first time in his life.
Here's my take; this is a beautiful classic that has been nearly forgot. Which is a shame Rex Beach is a excellent author who had quite an ability, while sometimes his books can get a little slow, they always turn out in the end to be worth it. My opinion this should be a must read for anyone interested in classic fiction, especially those interested in lost classics like this one.
Never got through the first chapter. That's not to say it's a bad book, just not "my cup of tea".
